How has Plymouth been a blessing in your life? Was it because of the opportunities for spiritual growth? Perhaps it was a place you could be accepted and loved as the person God created you to be. Or maybe you were drawn to the community involvement and social justice activism that is so strong at Plymouth. In addition to all of those reasons, there are the people. Plymouth has been and remains a congregation of deeply loving, warm individuals who take seriously their call to live as disciples.
It is in this spirit of thanksgiving for all that this small congregation has meant to each one of us that we celebrate its forty years of existence. Plymouth has approximately $23,000 remaining on its last mortgage. If we could remove that expenditure we would have more funds available for our ministries.
So, beginning on September 30, and continuing until the end of the year, we are asking everyone who has found meaning from within this community to give a birthday present to Plymouth. Remember what Plymouth has been to you. Celebrate her 40 years of faithful service, and contribute to her continued ministry in the future.
To make a special birthday gift to Plymouth, you can:
- Write “Plymouth Birthday” in your check memo; OR
- Place your cash in an offering envelope and write “Plymouth Birthday” on the front.
Plymouth birthday donations can be mailed to the church, placed in the offering plate during our Sunday offering, or placed in the “Little White Church” during our Sunday recognition of birthdays and anniversaries.
