Mar. 4 - Klein Collins Gay Straight Alliance
The Klein Collins Gay Straight Alliance at Klein Collins High School helps unite students of different backgrounds and provides a sanctuary for those who feel left out and bullied by others. The GSA started two years ago and has quickly grown. The GSA promotes acceptance and love of all God’s children. The GSA hopes to use these donations to purchase club shirts, and to support upcoming social events.
Mar. 11 - Plymouth UCC Women's Retreat Scholarship
This offering will make it possible for women whose budgets are too tight to attend the retreat weekend at Slumber Falls UCC Camp overlooking the Guadelupe River in New Braunfels, April 20-22nd.
Mar. 18 - UCC One Great Hour of Sharing
The relief, refugee and development fund of the United Church of Christ, it channels resources for international programs in health, education and agricultural development, emergency relief, refugee ministries, and both international and domestic disaster response, administered by Wider Church Ministries, Global Sharing of Resources. One of the Special Missions Offerings received by the UCC and part of Our Churches Wider Mission (OCWM), the OGHS Offering is most often received the third Sunday of Lent, but may be taken at different times.
Mar. 25 - No Place for Hate
The No Place for Hate program empowers school communities to promote respect for individual and group differences while challenging prejudice and bigotry. The No Place for Hate Coalition at Schindewolf promotes respect and understanding through school wide communication and activities. The Coalition is made up of students, staff leaders and parents. They meet monthly to plan and implement programs on our campus that emphasize working together in a diverse world.
