NAM Garden Beating the Heat!

We’re pushing 350 pounds of fresh produce grown and delivered to NAM from the Plymouth NAM Garden.  Right now, the only thing being harvested are the yard-long beans that keep going, and going…  We will soon have sweet potatoes – whatever the grubs don’t eat.  Two beds are planted in black eyed peas.  A few okra plants have defeated the weeds.  And the orchard is getting a makeover. We can use help with any and all of this, especially with several of our garden volunteers working doggedly on shed demolition – thank you Bill and Barbara M. and Mary D.  If you have a couple or hours to harvest beans and/or transport them to the NAM pantry, please contact Judy Walden.  Thank you Mary B. for consistently transporting produce to the pantry on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mary D. for consistently helping out in the garden and with the shed replacement.
